A daily ritual
Grow a tree, one day at a time.
Grow a Tree is a small, quiet place on the internet. Create an account, water your tree once each day, and watch it move from seed to blossom. Miss a day and the streak resets. The tree keeps every stage it has earned.

How it works
1
Plant an account
Sign up with your email and confirm the message we send you. Your seed is waiting as soon as the account is ready.
2
Water once a day
One visit, one button. Watering is counted in Coordinated Universal Time, so the day turns over at midnight UTC.
3
Keep the streak
Consecutive days move the tree through six stages. Miss a day and the streak starts again, while the tree stays at the highest stage it has reached.
Six stages of growth
Progress is measured by consecutive days. The tree shows the furthest stage your longest streak has unlocked.
Seed
Where you begin
Every tree starts here, tucked into the soil on the day you join.
Sprout
Longest streak of 1 day
The first watering sends up a stem and two small leaves.
Sapling
Longest streak of 3 days
Three days in a row and the stem begins to look like a little tree.
Young Tree
Longest streak of 7 days
A week of care gives it a proper crown of leaves.
Mature Tree
Longest streak of 14 days
Fourteen consecutive days and the canopy fills out.
Blossoming Tree
Longest streak of 30 days
Thirty days in a row and the branches cover themselves in blossom.
Questions
What happens if I miss a day?
The tree does not die and it does not shrink. Your current streak returns to zero, and the days you need for the next stage start again. Stages you have already earned stay put.
When does a new day begin?
At midnight UTC. You can water once during each UTC day. The dashboard tells you when today’s watering is already done.
How do the stages work?
The stage follows your longest streak: Sprout after 1 day, Sapling after 3, Young Tree after 7, Mature Tree after 14, and Blossoming Tree after 30. A new streak has to reach the next threshold on its own.
Is Grow a Tree free?
Yes. Creating an account, watering, and keeping your tree are free. There is nothing to buy.
What do you store?
Your email address, your account, and your tree progress. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The Privacy Policy explains the detail and your rights.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account settings and permanently delete the account, or email contact@growatree.uk. Deletion removes your profile and your tree.
Your seed is ready when you are.
It takes a minute to open an account. After that, the only task is to come back tomorrow.
